Partnerships

We work with groups across Scotland to help us gain a better understanding of how people experience mental health stigma in combination with other forms of stigma.

Over the last 20 years, See Me has worked in partnership with a range of communities and groups across Scotland to tackle mental health stigma.

We know that some people and groups are more likely to experience mental health stigma and discrimination as a result of power inequities and other forms of discrimination. Our work focusses on how we can work together to help tackle that stigma in a way that works for them.

Our Communities and Priority Groups team is committed to developing meaningful community partnerships, exploring how different forms of stigma and discrimination co-exist and interact, and how this affects people.

Our partnerships help us to identify and address the gaps in our knowledge and understanding, exploring the issues around stigma and discrimination while also highlighting experiences and community-led solutions.

We work alongside community partners to review our existing materials, as well as support piloting of new resources and workshops to address mental health stigma.
