Our Advisory Group

The Advisory Group supports See Me in the achievement of our mission, aims, objectives and outcomes.

What is the Advisory Group?

The Advisory Group helps See Me in influencing our future direction, delivery and strategy, by providing expertise, advice and guidance.  It also acts as a ‘critical friend’ to the Programme.

The Advisory Group is made up of members with experience of mental health problems and people who work in relevant professions. All members have strong knowledge, expertise and understanding of mental health, stigma, prejudice and discrimination and this knowledge helps to guide the overall direction of See Me.

The Advisory Group does not have a formal governance role, that remit sits with See Me’s Managing Partners, the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) and the Mental Health Foundation (MHF), but provides strategic advice and guidance which influences the direction and delivery of the programme.
