Prism - Icebreaker Dundee

Prism - Icebreaker Dundee

Icebreaker Prism was a collection of spoken word performances by Iona Lee, Morgan Black, Fever Peach and Luis Alçada. The performances were themed around gender, mental health and the link between them. They were performed live in front of an audience, and recorded to post on social media.

Around 50 people attended the live performance, and over 5000 have watched the photos and reels posted online. The content created at the event got great feedback from both audience and performers, collected at the time and online.

Project lead Luis Alçada reflected, “My main creative belief has always been that it’s possible to tackle challenging issues in a way that is both kind and accessible to a wide audience, and I found this project incredibly encouraging and reassuring in that respect.”
