Join See Me at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow
We are hosting our Time to Talk day event at the Riverside Museum (the transport museum)
Refreshments and an opportunity to be part of our Sam's Kitchen Table approach will also be going ahead beside the tills.
The Corner Dundee are holding a ’cuppy and cake’ drop-in morning to raise awareness of what The Corner stands for while taking part in Time to Talk Day.
Feel free to pop in and say hello, or just take a look around!

Health and Social Walk in Clydebank
West Dunbartonshire CVS are organising a Health and Social Walk on Thursday 2 February in Clydebank.
Walkers will meet at the band stand on Three Queens Square at 9.45am and set off at 10am.
It will be a two-mile walk down towards the Titan Crane where there will be a short break. Walkers will then return to the band stand - finishing around 11.15am.

Cuppa and a Chat with Fife mental health services
Hosted by Families in Trauma and Recovery, people are invited down to Fife Renewables Innovation Centre on Ajax Way for a chance to find out more about services provided in the area.
There will be round table chats for service providers to talk to each other. Stalls will be manned so that anyone can start a conversation.

Walk a Mile in Saltcoats
On Thursday 2 February, Saltcoats will play host to a Walk a Mile, mental health bingo and a chat about where to get help.
It will kick off from the Ayrshire Community Trust office on Vernon Street.
After the walk, you can look forward to a mental health bingo, a talk by those with experience of mental health problems and a chat about where to get help back at the Ayrshire Community Trust office.
The event will start 1pm and finish around 3pm, and those interested in getting involved can turn up on the day or get in touch with Tommy via email.

Open mic night in Govanhill to tackle mental health stigma
The Bee’s Knees cafe will play host to an open mic night to help challenge negative attitudes and behaviours.
On Friday 3 February, people are invited to the cafe on Bowman Street in Glasgow, where music and spoke word performances will touch on the theme of mental health – particularly addressing stigma and discrimination.
The event is being organised by Rose O’Doherty, who is a volunteer with See Me Proud, a group tackling mental health stigma in the LGBT+ community, run by LGBT Health and Wellbeing and See Me.
The event will run from 6pm to 8pm in the Bee’s Knees Café on Bowman Street in Govanhill. Places are limited to 20 people, and tea, coffee and cakes will be on sale on the evening.

Walk a Mile in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire
On Saturday 4 February, Stonehaven will play host to a Walk a Mile event.
See Me volunteers Dawn Getliffe and Elaine Simpson are calling on everyone to put their best foot forward.
The walk will kick off from the Stonehaven Leisure Centre to the St James Church on Cameron Street.
After the walk, local mental health organisation Pillar will have coffee, tea and biscuits on offer inside the church.

Drop in at Kirkshaws Neighbourhood Centre
Thursday 2 February, the Kirkshaws Neighbourhood Centre in Coatbridge will host a drop-in session at their local community cafe.
It's open to everyone in the community and surrounding areas, with a chance to have a chat with those manning the chat table.
Refreshments will be provided at no cost.

Hearing Voices Network event in Dundee
On Thursday 2 February, the Hearing Voices Network (HaVeN) will host a safe place to talk. It gives visitors a chance to have an open discussion about whatever may be on someone's mind.
Food and drinks will be provided.
All are welcome.
Time: 11am to 12pm and 5pm to 6pm
The Power of Words Coffee Chat in Edinburgh
See Me volunteers Sara and Danielle have organised a workshop to discuss techniques to support your wellbeing.
On Thursday 2 February, head down to the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre on Palmerston Place and learn how you can work on overcoming self-stigma. The event will feature a variety of activities, such as:
- An introduction to self-stigma
- Breathing and movement exercises
- 3-word journaling exercise
- Six Wee Wordies workshop
- Create a Self-Love Parcel

Fife Council drop-in session
Ahead of Time to Talk Day, Fife Council will host three drop-in sessions across different community centres in the local authority.
These include:

Tuesday 31 January at the Lochgelly Town Hall

Wednesday 1 February at the Kelty Centre
The sessions will centre around asking, "What is mental health?" and how can it be improved. Wellbeing packs will be shared out that consist of self-care items like face masks, colouring sheets and pencils and a mental health booklet.
Sessions are open to the public.
Zine Workshop in Glasgow
On Saturday 4 February, See Me Proud Community Champion Shelley Queen will host a zine workshop.
A zine is a self-published work created using whatever materials are on hand, usually created as a means to relay information about subjects outside of mainstream media.
The session will be held at LGBT Health and Wellbeing in The Adelphi Centre in Glasgow.
