Programme of free mental health learning opportunities for employers

Posted by See Me, 12 September 2023

What can my organisation do to create inclusive working environments free from mental health stigma and discrimination? What’s the role of managers in supporting employee mental health? What reasonable adjustments can employers put in place to support mental health needs of employees?

These are just a few of the questions we are asked regularly through our work with employers – and we’ll be providing some of the answers in our upcoming online events.

In the months ahead, See Me’s workplace team will be hosting a series of online webinars and masterclasses to shed some light on the importance of taking action to address mental health stigma and discrimination at work – and how to do it.

The online sessions will cover a range of topics, including understanding mental health at work, the role of managers in supporting staff mental health, and how to have conversations to reduce work-related stress.

The See Me sessions will explore the duties and responsibilities of employers when it comes to employee mental health, and how to ensure you have the right support and conditions to enable workers to reach out and ask for help when they need it.

Future events will showcase how taking action to tackle mental health stigma at work can benefit your business – by saving money, reducing absenteeism and presenteeism, and creating a better working environment for your staff.

You’ll also get the chance to find out more about the type of support See Me has to offer workplaces, and the free resources on offer to help you take action against stigma as part of the wider See Us movement.
